How to get that pie crust into the dish in one piece!

Working with pie crust can be a rather delicate matter. Getting it into the pie dish in one piece can be difficult but using the Pastry Cloth makes it as easy as 1-2-3-4!

After rolling out the pie dough, lift up the corner of the pastry cloth and place the rolling pin in the center of the dough (#1)


In one swift motion flip the cloth up and over the rolling pin. The crust is now on top of the rolling pin (#2)



Carefully lift up the rolling pin and crust, supporting the crust from underneath, and position it over the pie dish (#3)


Unroll the pie crust from the rolling pin and center the crust in the pie dish (4). And that, my friends is where the phrase "easy as pie" comes from!
